ACAA Advising Awards & Recognition Process

The All-Campus Advising Association welcomes nominations for the ACAA Awards!

The awards recognize excellence in advising. Faculty, students, staff, and alumni are all encouraged to nominate advisors who demonstrate the qualities and practices associated with outstanding advising. The criteria for each award can be found in the ACAA Award Criteria Page. Nominations are due by Sunday, February 1st. 

  • Outstanding Established Professional Advisor
  • Outstanding Early Professional Advisor
  • Distinguished Service to Advising at UO**

The ACAA Awards & Advisor Recognition Committee will review nominations over Winter term and allocate awards and their associated prizes in Spring.

Nominations are due by Sunday, February 1st

A committee made up oprofessional advisors will review nominations over Winter term using a scoring rubric to determine finalists. To help determine the recipient of each award, the committee will work with finalists to solicit testimonials from close colleagues or supervisors. Each awardee will receive a prize and recognition at the ACAA Advising Awards Celebration on Friday, June 5th. You can see details about the selection process and the rubrics by which nominations are scored on the Awards Selection Process Page

Please spread the word! We welcome your nominations. Questions can be sent to any member of the committee at the addresses listed below.

*Nominations for this award will come from leadership of the various colleges, divisions, and programs at UO.
